My review of the SoundBot SB571

California based lifestyle personal gadget brand, SoundBot recently launched a new affordable compact portable Bluetooth speaker, the SoundBot SB571. Priced at Rs 1999, the bluetooth speaker is packed with a decent set of specifications and features. The speaker features 12 hours of music streaming as well as hand-free calling. It also packs 6W + 6W 40mm driver, built-in microphone, 3.5mm audio port, and a rechargeable battery that is good for indoor and outdoor use.

The SoundBot SB571 is made out of tough rubber-coated plastic on the top and bottom, separated by a large mesh grille around the speaker itself. The buttons on the top to control the speaker are formed out of the same rubber, so it should do alright outdoors if it encounters light rain, though I wouldn’t recommend dropping it into water, as it isn’t marketed as waterproof or water resistant.

The SoundBot SB571 Bluetooth Speaker is built with two 40mm premium speaker drivers that produce a 6-Watt audio output. For a compact size of the SoundBot SB571 Bluetooth, we were pretty impressed with the crisp and detailed basing from the tracks that we played on it.

Coming to power backup, the 1,000mAh in-built battery takes around 3 hours to fully charge, and playback via Bluetooth goes on for about 8 hours.

The SoundBot SB571 retails for about 1999/- on Amazon.com. For the price, you probably won’t find a better quality speaker. SoundBot’s SB571 Bluetooth speaker aims to give a worthy performance without burning a hole in your pocket.

Taking its price into consideration, the SoundBot SB571 does lack in some key features however it delivers excellent audio experience by providing impressive sound quality, compact and lightweight design, long battery life, and speakerphone capability. The SoundBot SB571 Bluetooth Speaker is really worth the price tag.
