Trek to Snowline (Mcleodganj)

My first ever trek in North India! and what better place than Mcleodganj to begin with. I went there with few friends of mine I met on Twitter. It was a beautiful experience, trekking amidst constant rains and greenery all around. My main purpose however was to see and feel snow although I failed at doing since I was already exhausted by the time I reached Snowline.

There is always a next time.

So we left Delhi from Majnu Ka Tilla at 6:30pm and reached Mcleodganj the next day at 6am.

We started from Dharamkot and reached this point, It’s the highest motorable road in Mcleodganj.

You will come across lots of dogs on your way up. Some will even join you and guide you through out the trek.

That’s SNOWHITE, who volunteered to be our Guide Dog till Snowline point. Very possessive and caring indeed. He would always wait for everyone before moving ahead.
